Worry no more! A technology to detect a counterfeit is here.
The arrival of counterfeits or fake bags is now widespread. Of course, many people want to become the owner of well-known luxury brands, but their budget is insufficient to buy original bags from luxury brands due to their price.

Sometimes because they fake one too similar to the original, it becomes tough for buyers to distinguish between real and unreal. Unfortunately, this problem does not only occur in Indonesia but also in various countries across the globe.

As reported by Hypebeast, LVMH, the group that houses luxury labels such as Louis Vuitton, Christian Dior, Sephora, Fendi, and others, looks serious about this phenomenon. Through the third edition of the La Maison des Startups program, they chose the Entrupy authentication service as one of the 26 companies participating in the incubation process.
Entrupy's artificial intelligence system collects a series of images based on around 500 data points per bag to determine the item's genuineness.
"This technology works great on anything, except diamonds and porcelain, because it's refractive, whereas you use optical analysis," explains Vidyuth Srinivasan, co-founder of Entrupy to Refinery29.
